Year 7 pupils will participate in Accelerated Reader lessons which will take place once a fortnight in the school library. Pupils at Stratford School Academy have celebrated national success coming 2nd out of 160 UK secondary schools at the Urban Debate League tournament. Stratford School Academy pupils have had great involvement in Student RE Matters/Student SACRE. Student SACRE consists of a group of young people who are interested in moral and religious issues from different backgrounds and cultures who get together each half term from different Newham secondary schools. Last term, Ms Till supported the girls dance team at Stratford School Academy and attended Newham Schools Dance Competition, the annual event hosted at NewVic College. ‘Lots of time and effort went into their first ever dance competition, I’m sure it will be the first of many!’ Ms Till.
The last day of term was on Friday 18th December 2015. The pupil charity commission  decided to raise funds for ‘The National Autistic Society’ charity through a non-school uniform day. Stratford School Academy raised an outstanding £744.42 for the charity.
